Arusha National Park cover 552 km2, located only 20 km from Moshono Hillside, and is often chosen as a day-safari destination. This wildlife park has a varied and beautiful landscape in three distinct areas: In the west you find Jekukumia River with the peak of Mount Meru on its rim. In the south-east you find the Ngurdoto Crater and its grassland. In the north-east you find colorful and diverse landscapes, known for their wading birds. The most common animals are Buffalos, Giraffes, Zebras, Monkeys, Hippos, Waterbucks, Bushbucks and more than 400 bird species including flamingos.
