Lake Manyara National Park lies about 115 km from Moshono Hillside and covers 648 square kilometers. This park is on the route to Serengeti and situated between Lake Manyara and the Great Rift Valley. Two-third is covered by water, and it is especially known for the lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees in the groundwater forest, its tree-climbing lions and the soda lake. The park is also inhabited by thousands of pink flamingos as well as large waterfowl and troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Among a variety of wildlife species, you also can see herds of elephants, klipspringers, warthogs, impalas, buffalos, hippos, gazelles and leopards.
